Visiting Penang Post Office
During March school holiday, one of our school activities was to visited Penang post office, the purpose was to let our little angels & teachers as well to know more about the operation of post office. The services that provide by post office : Pos laju, Pos express, AR register, payment for water,telefon,elektrik bill , driving licence, road tax, rental of the Peti Surat... Everday, the worker will go to collect the letter from the letter box by area, then all the letter will be separate by state, all the post office in Penang will be incharges for different area, the letter at Bayan Lepas will send to Bayan Lepas main post office, the Post Office Besar Penang only incharges for the town area, after that the worker will chop at the setem by using machine & manual,then the postmen incharge will do the final sorting by postcode, they will go out to send the letter by 10.30am everday. Thks to our postmen for their hard work.
